Design internship at Gemm (now Riff)
One place for the creator economy
Gemm (now Riff) replaces spreadsheets and a stack of disconnected tools with one place to track brand deals, run payouts, and handle taxes. During the internship I worked alongside the founding team to shape flows that made financial complexity feel approachable for creators.
From flows to a shared system
I designed key product surfaces and contributed reusable components, tightening the visual language so the team could ship consistently and quickly. The goal was a system that scaled with the product rather than one-off screens.
What I took away
Working inside an early-stage startup meant moving fast, owning decisions end to end, and balancing craft with shipping. It sharpened how I think about product UX, systems, and collaborating with engineers and founders.
